How stories are invented, pitched and sold in the ultra competitive, dog eat dog, yet highly efficient and profitable world of the Hollywood Hills and downtown LA should be of intense interest to us the “brand Guys”.
Treating brands as stories, Hollywood style, and managing them as such avoids the sterile theory of brand onions, keys and other strategic brand shapes we all trade and sell.
Stories engage people are real and get listened to.
This interactive session will briefly outline “The eight immutable laws of movies you really want to see” and how they apply to brands and focus on two of them.
1) Why genre is more important than the movie itself
2) How Hollywood’s critical need to pitch ideas fast, succinctly and competitively can help us sell our strategic thinking
